Besides the fact that he is insanely hot, of course.
Last year, Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily Rose, was hospitalized for over nine days with renal failure, where she received care at the London’s Great Ormond St Hospital. Well Johnny wanted to give back to the hospital that helped his family so much, and first he started by inviting some of the doctors to his Sweeney Todd premiere. Then he donated….wait for it……TWO MILLION DOLLARS! But it doesn’t even stop there, because he even went a step further and dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow and spent over four hours telling stories and spending time with patients.
I love this shit, it makes so many other celebrities seem like the biggest cunts on the planet, which they probably are to be honest. Johnny is a smart one though, and totally knows how to work being a celeb with being nice. And if Johnny could cough up two mil for the hospital, imagine how much could be accomplished if all these celebrity Mc-Scrooges stopped hording their money or snorting it up their noses. But I guess if they would rather ride around in $300k cars and wear baby skin slippers as opposed to ending world hunger, saving the environment or helping fund medicinal research, then thats their right. But then its also my right to call them a selfish bitch.
