Okay, I am actually kind of pissed about this now. A&E announced that they will be allowing Dog the Bounty Hunter show back in the line up, saying they are pleased with the outreach Duane (Dog) Chapman made towards the black community…..

All this sounds like to me is that A&E pulled the show, then couldn’t find anything else to fill the spot and get ratings like Dog’s redundant show somehow did, so they would rather let a racist back on the air to keep their pockets fat.

So in an attempt at repairing his decimated image, Dog, government name Duayne Chapman, appeared on the Hannity and Colmes show last night, and really succeeded in making himself look like a bigger dickweed than before. Excerpts from his interview:

“In other words, my whole life I’ve been called a half-breed, a convict, king of the trailer trash, this and that…so when I stood there and said, ‘I kind of know what you feel like, because I’ve been there, too,’ that I felt that I could embrace and like, as brothers…say the word.”

“I now learned I’m not black at all, and I never did it out of hate,” Chapman continued. “This sounds so stupid. I always did it out of love. Other white guys would be like, ‘Boy, who does Dog think he is? Dog can say that.’ And black guys would be with me and walk with me and respect me.

“So, I went too far with that.”

Uhm, basically Dog is a big ass liar, because if he really felt he could use the N word the boyfriends girlfriend would not have been surprised to hear it, his reverend would not have been shocked, in fact, and he wouldn’t have felt the need to defend his choice of words. And really, if he felt he was so privy to the usage of the word, shouldn’t we have heard him use it on his show before?

But no one ever has, because he knows that it would be viewed as UNACCEPTABLE, and he knew it was shameful. So now not only is he a racist, he is a lying racist who is only getting uglier by the second.

And really, the image that Hannity and Colmes are trying to portray of Dog is laughable, and by laughable, I mean disgustingly stupid.

So I am pretty sure everyone is familiar with Dog the Bounty hunter, and I think, in general people liked him and he seemed like a nice enough guy, but that was until the national enquirer got their hands on an audio tape of Dog going off about black people, and using a certain racial word that rhymes with digger a number of times, in reference to his sons black girlfriend. Here is a transcript of Dog’s rant:

“I’m not taking a chance…not because she’s black but because we use the word n—er sometimes here. I’m not going to take any chance ever in life of losing everything I’ve worked for 30 years because some drunken n—er heard us say n—er and turned us into the Enquirer magazine…I’m not taking that chance at all never in life. Never…”

I love the irony of him saying that he would NEVER do anything to ruin his bail bond empire, when basically every word that is coming out of his mouth is doing exactly that.

A&E already issued a statement about the situation, saying:

“A&E has just learned of the story released by the National Enquirer concerning Duane Dog Chapman. We take this matter very seriously. Pending an investigation, we have suspended production on the series. When the inquiry is concluded we will take appropriate action.”

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk Dog.

But its hilarious to me how many people would ruin their careers over using such a hateful word that is so simple to avoid.
